This is my first Meets. Being a huge fan of Sanrio, I was very excited to be able to preorder this. The color is not really red, it has some orange in it. I own a Magic ON, so I compared the two a lot. The buttons on the Sanrio Meets is not as firm as the ON; the Meets sounds a bit louder than the ON; the Meets is brighter than the ON. I’ve put on a screen protector on both, and there is still a difference in the brightness levels. These are not issues to me, but I wanted to point it out in case anyone was wondering the difference between the two devices (other than gameplay). The lanyard it came with is also really pretty, but a bit short for me (I think all the Japanese Tamagotchi lanyards are shorter than the American Tamagotchi ones).

今発売されているたまごっちuniと比べて、断然たまごっちみーつの方がいいです。何世代にも渡ってたまごっちを育てていると、すごく愛着が湧きます。親の見た目が受け継がれるのもいいですね。たまごっちuniは、結婚すると卵を産んでそこで飼育終了で、見た目なども引き継がれないので育てている感じがしません。すぐにリセットボタンを押してしまいそうです。簡単に、ボタンひとつで結婚できなくて、何度も会ったり指輪を買ったりしてプロポーズする過程も面白いです。他のたまごっちみーつも欲しくなりました。通信して遊びたいです。色々な場所に行けたりするのですが、解放条件が簡単すぎないところもやりがいがありますね。サンリオキャラクターも可愛らしいです。ただひとつ、十数枚程度しか写真を残しておけないのが残念です。全ての成長過程を記録しておきたかったのですが、無理でした。発売してから大分経っているので今後の展開などはないかと思いますが、uniの次はみーつのような機種を発売してほしいと切に願います。

The buttons on Japanese Meets are much more responsive than American ONs. Wish they offered ALL of the Sanrio characters. But regardless, this is a very cute tamagotchi and comes with a very cute strap. Very fun interactive game and recommend to any child or adult. Screen is bright and colors are vibrant. Does not come with triple A batteries (requires 2). Game eats up about 2 AAA batteries per week.
