Small but MIGHTY
I love this virtual pet!!! It has similar features as tamagotchis but enough different features that sets it apart. The animations are smooth, sounds are cute, and the screen is bright and vibrant. Overall a solid and budget friendly Vpet

It’s cute, but…
It’s definitely not worth $40. I wish I had looked harder for a cheaper price. I had issues with the battery compartment. One of the metal things with the spiral slid out of place and I had to push it back. The game still works fine though thankfully. I was also concerned because the box the toy is packaged in was very beat up and dirty. Even the shipping box was cleaner that’s how bad it was. There was even dirt on the actual toy. And it didn’t have one of those temporary screen protectors to protect from scratches or dust. All of this makes me think that the seller isn’t too trustworthy, or that something went very wrong during the shipping process. I think this was translated from another language because the writing is a bit odd as well. It is very cute though, colorful and bright. There are a lot of activities in the game that you can do. However I don’t think that this is as good as other competitive keychain-digital pet games. For example, I think that tamagotchis have even better quality for a similar, in some cases better, price range.Overall I give this toy 3/5 stars. I removed one star because of the issues with the product being dirty, and I removed another star for the issues with the battery compartment. I think if you enjoy collecting digital pets like me this could be a cute and unique edition to your collection. I would suggest looking for a better priced one though.

Cute Virtual Pet…Very Needy LOL!
This is a cute little pet. it’s kind of like tamagotchi, but newer. First you choose an egg, pick the gender, then name your pet and you get to raise it from infant to adult. But, it is VERY needy. You have to check it at least 3x a day to make sure it’s not going to leave you. Because that happened to me and I had to restart the whole entire game. They have a few miniganes built in so you can make money because you can’t have a job on the game until you grow up. The game is very fun though and it keeps me entertained through the day. The screen is bright at night, too. And easy to use. Buy it and have fun!

This is waay cooler than my Tamagotchi from the 90s!
This was a stocking stuffer for my son. He’s heard us talking about Tamagotchis before, but I thought that they were more or less extinct. When I saw this, I had to get it.The basics are the same: check on your virtual pet several times per day. It likely will have a pouting face. In this case, it specifically tells you what’s up. (“I’m hungry!” “Bathe me!” “Take me out!”)You have 3 input buttons – next, select, and back – to move through the various options. I thought it was hilarious that you can take your pet to a Chinese restaurant or a Western restaurant, in addition to feeding it biscuits and whatnot. This is definitely bigger than the original Tamagotchi, about the size of 2 of them. It takes 3 AAA batteries. The technology has advanced enough to where the screen is color now. It goes black after a period of inactivity to save battery. We haven’t had it long enough to know what that looks like, nor has my son accidentally killed the virtual pet out of neglect yet.

Very fun and well made
This is fun and my granddaughter loves it. It has several multiplayer games which is fun on a road trip. It us also funny with all the things you can do with the pet. It was pretty expensive so I won’t be giving this for a gift unless it’s a special family birthday etc. I do think it is well made and durable.

Shamefully cheaply made/love the game though
Adult user/virtual pet collector:After experiencing 2 of these devices, I’m disappointed in the hardware quality of this product. To be priced at $40; shameful. The gameplay IS actually really good and unique enough to stand on its own; A nice change from traditional Tamagotchi devices.Problems I had with first device that had to be returned:It worked well for about 1 day while I wasn’t using the sound. On the second day, however, I turned the sound on and the screen would blink in and off at random and restart on its own. I tried brand new batteries multiple times and it seemed to get worse. Eventually, it just stopped turning on, even after replacing new batteries and pressing restart button in back.I received the second device and have been using for about 5 days. The first day I had sound on and it started doing the weird screen blinking. I have turned off sound and haven’t had any problems ever since. This device most definitely has some hardware-quality issues and should absolutely not be priced at $40. It seems to be made from the cheapest, lightest-weight plastic that should only be used for 25 cent machine throw-away toys. I’m surprised that no one has commented on this before me; then again some received this for free to review (which is fine, thank you for those reviews), however, the cost of this also needs to be addressed. I expected at least a little better quality for $40. Giga Pets, for example, seem to have better quality hardware and they cost <$20. They aren’t in color, kind of a bad comparison, just making the point that this company COULD have done a little better in their choice of hardware for this game. But they didn’t. They went with the worst quality materials to minimize production cost and it’s painfully obvious. The only thing this has going for it is the programming…it really is a shame the manufacturer didn’t invest more money in the quality of its hardware. There’s a lot of potential here, but also a lot of cut corners to mass produce this for as cheap as possible (like SUPER disappointingly, unnecessarily-cheaply made). Unfortunately, the sacrifice to produce this device so inexpensively has created a toy with a great game that’s barely accessible due to crappy hardware flaws. Bravo, China. The longevity of this device is doubtful, and that sucks because I was excited about this particular product to be better. Lame.Maybe some other company can make a decent quality device and use similar programming?

Cute Toy
Cute interactive toy. Not really a replacement for the giga pet but close. My daughter likes it a lot.

Very cool
Such a cute device that’s both easy and fun to play. I like that it’s small and easy to carry around with me to stay entertained and kept up with my little pet. Works great and isn’t obnoxiously loud.
