A decent case to protect your original Tamagotchi with. Considering how the popularity of such device has enjoyed a resurgence lately due to Y2K nostalgia, this is a decent item to own. Because I just got myself a Tamagotchi as an adult recently, too!Not gonna lie, though–it was more difficult than expected to put my device into the case–but it also means that, once it’s in, it fits snugly and will protect your egg shaped toy very effectively. It will also obscure 90% of the shell design, so if you have a kawaii shell, this is sort of a loss. On the contrary, if you have a boring shell, then the shark aesthetics will be quite welcoming, I reckon.I’d recommend everyone to get a Tamagotchi case like this one, because just like your mobile phone, you’re bound to drop your Tama at least once on hard concrete floor. I just did it last week, and I thought, man oh man, am I lucky to get no scratch from this accident. But I won’t be so fortunate next time. Now, with this shark case, I won’t have that worry as much. Hence, quality product, if at the right price ($10 or under, ideally $5 really), snag this up.

It’s a cute design and I love it. Finding cute cases or any case for the tamagotchi original on Amazon has been difficult in the past. I’m glad I came across this one. I liked the other characters too and I plan to get them for my other tamas. Putting it on was a bit difficult but I think it’s because it fit perfectly snug. The material is thick and I’m confident it protects my tama well. There was no plasticky rubber smell which was a plus as I’ve had other cases that have an strong rubber smell.

I think the original Tamagotchi is the only type of Tama that I almost never see silicone cases around for, or any kind of cases whatsoever. So when I saw this cute little cow-shaped Tama case, I immediately grabbed it. I am actually really glad I did, this is significantly better quality than I was assuming it would be. It is one solid, fairly thick silicone case which feels very durable and protective of the Tama. The cow design is genuinely pretty cute looking. The case fits the Gen 1/ Gen 2 Tamas and they are super easy to install and remove. These are really cute and they work perfectly. No complaints whatsoever.
