i have two original gen 3 connections from when i was in elementary school (2004?), along with two m!xâs (2016?), all four of which still work⦠but when i saw this specific one (the translucent blue with gold stars!) i HAD to have it!it works great, besides buttons occasionally not working (needing to be pressed twice for it to register). itâs a simple tama, only one game (guessing if a number will be higher or lower than the one shown, from 1 to 9, a being lower and b being higher) but itâs really cute and iâm happy.i probably wonât be keeping it active for a long time, and i always take out the batteries if im not going to be playing so it doesnât get icky, so i expect it should last.i think the only thing im worried about is if the painted design will last, and if the buttons continue to work.i REALLY hope when they release the new connections, that there will be some similar to this in shell design! because i love my connections still and i would be SO happy to have more (and i wonder if theyâll be comparable with the old ones?? that would be awesome)i love my m!xâs but theyâre only in japanese and the design isnât quite as good (theyâre just bigger mostly, and require either AA or AAA batteries rather than button batteries..) so iâm really happy to have a new one for the excitement (also $20 is significantly better than the $60 i paid for EACH of my m!xâsâ¦) and i hope to get new connections too.. i think the only thing they could do to make a shell cooler than this one would be to have it glow in the dark!genuinely so happy to have this! i might have to buy another so i can have a display one and one that i donât have to worry about feeling bad if i damage itâ¦.UPDATE-first try and i got mimitchi!!

The Flower Gingham design is SO adorable on this tamagotchi. The âsoftwareâ is just like the original version from 1997 â same buttons, screen, functions, and beeps.The tiny manual is surprisingly clear and complete. It thankfully includes directions for muting your tama, which I think most people miss, as itâs toward the end of the booklet.- TO MUTE/UNMUTE, hold the A button and press C.- TO RESET THE CLOCK, press B for the clock to appear, and then hold A and press C. The clock will go into SET mode.I got my tama from Amazon warehouse deals. It was dead on arrival and had obvious pen marks on the reset button, and I was afraid it was broken â but fortunately it just needed a new battery, which I replaced. Then I pressed the B button, and the infamous pulsating egg appeared! I was in business! YES! MY FIRST TAMA!The babies need lots of frequent attention, feeding, and games, with occasional toilet flushing and medicine. The baby stage lasted for about two hours for me, and then it transformed into a toddler. As they grow older, they require less attention.They automatically go to sleep between 8:00-11:00 pm and wake up between 7:00-11:00 am, depending on age. If this is a problem for your work/school/sleeping schedule, just reset the clock on the tamagotchi so it better corresponds with your preferred hours. (I did so, and it works great.)Definitely recommend for anyone who wanted an OG tamagotchi but never had one, or if you lost yours and want to relive the late â90s!

Bought this for myself when I figured out tamagotchi was still being made. I’m an ’04 kid, so I don’t have nastolgia about when these toys first came out. I vaguely remember begging my mom for a tamagotchi when I was around 6. I lost it and never found it again. These things are really fun, but you have to check it constantly to make sure it’s well taken care of (learned that making no mistakes while caring for your tama will net you the best one) and happy.I’m a big fan of LCD toys, as I grew up with a few, and Tamagotchi is no different.NOTE: If your tamagotchi dies, theres a reset button of the back that you can press with a toothpick or other small object, OR press A while holding down C to reset for a new egg.

i love it! thought i’d get bored fast but i genuinely like looking after it. i dont know why everyone says it beeps every 10 minutes because it doesnt if you take good care of it, in fact, mine has barely beeped. maybe once per hour / every few hours but barely. literally just take good care of it and discipline it and it should barely beep. (except it’ll beep a lot during the baby stage but it goes away after an after when it evolves into a child). also it looks adorable on car keys and i love bringing it with me everywhere. idc what anyone says, i recommend. its only been a few days but im still having fun with it. only thing is that i recommend switching out the batteries as soon as you get it because it ran out in about a week so i had to reset my tama and had to start over :(update: i have 3 tamas in total: 2 from amazon and my new personal favorite, my pearly white tamagotchi angel which i prefer over the amazon ones

O produto é original o mesmo Tamagotchi dos anos 90, só com com uma nova roupagem no Design de sua carcaça para deixar ele mais moderno aos dias atuais. Mesma jogabilidade e já vem incluido uma bateria nele mesmo pronto para o uso. Como também seu clássico manual. O melhor de tudo é a apresentação da caixa que é decorada com várias ilustrações realmente muito bonita, Bandai Namco está de parabéns.
