Bought for my 5yo, mostly for my own nostalgia. She likes it okay but doesn’t pay enough attention to it for it to live longer than a day or two at a time, but that’s too be expected with her age. It’s cute, fun to have. Although playing the “game” with it can be frustrating, because there’s no rhyme or reason to it and if you don’t guess correctly it gets mad.

I’m glad these rereleases came out! I never had an original tamagotchi when I was little, so I’m glad they rereleased it for the 20th Anniversary. I thought this was a little expensive just because of the color, but it works great and I’m glad to have it!

It is a really great way to teach a child how to care for a pet.
I purchased this Tamagotchi for my nine-year-old daughter. She has really enjoyed playing with her virtual pet and it brings back old memories for me playing with one as a child. She originally was interested in the upgraded virtual Tamagotchi pet that ranges between $50 and $60. I chose to buy this one For her to be sure that she would continue playing with it. It is a really great way to teach a child how to care for a pet. I am now considering buying a set of the upgraded virtual Tamagotchi’s for her and her seven-year-old sister so they can connect and play together.

Short life
My daughter received this for Easter and took care of it diligently. On day three, with full happiness, discipline, and food meters, the creature got sick and started beeping. None of the buttons would respond to touch in order to give the creature medicine, so it died (angel wings and stars). We had to hold down buttons A and C to reset it. Highly disappointing, but we’re hoping the next creature lives longer and we aren’t forced into having it die again from no fault of our own. That was really unfair.

A mi hija le gustó mucho, aunque se le muere cada semana. Pero es de buena calidad, no recordaba que fuese tan de cuidados lograr que crezca el tamagochi, pero esta padre aunque un poco escandaloso.

Le regale este bello tamagotchi a mi hija de 7 años, no se si estaba más emocionada yo porque es un recuerdo padrísimo de mi infancia o si estaba emocionada porque sabía que le encantaría a mi niña. Funciona igual que como lo recordaba, es entretenido y divertido, le encanto a mi niña porque en la película nueva de Disney “Red” La Niña protagonista tiene uno y la verdad se que está súper de moda todo no de los 90s y 2000’s, así que es un regalo muy cool.
